MINASEONG is a contemporary fashion label founded by Korean designer Mina Seong. Drawing from a life shaped across Korea, Japan, United States and the United Kingdom, the brand explores the relationship between memory, identity and human connection through contemporary clothing.

Each collection begins with a personal narrative, translating emotional experiences into unexpected silhouettes, details and familiar objects seen from a different perspective.

Designed to be worn, remembered and lived in, MINASEONG creates clothing that encourages people to form their own connection with each piece.

The Founder

Mina Seong is a Korean designer who grew up in Japan and is based in the United Kingdom. She graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a degree in Fashion, where her graduate collection, Alone Together, explored her experience of growing up as an only child and how solitude can become a source of imagination and creativity.

MINASEONG expands that original concept into a contemporary ready-to-wear label, creating collections that speak to anyone who has experienced distance, longing, or the feeling of carrying someone with them even when they are apart.

Alone Together - Graduate Collection, 2025

Alone Together began as my graduate collection at Arts University Bournemouth and became the foundation for the world of MINASEONG. Exploring the experience of growing up as an only child, the collection looks at solitude as a space for imagination and creativity. Inspired by childhood memories of inflatable toys treated as imaginary siblings, and cousins who became “siblings by extension,” it transforms personal nostalgia into bold, expressive garments that celebrate the beauty of being alone.
